Mt. Monadnock

May 14, 2011

Mount Monadnock is known as one of the most hiked mountains in the world.  This hike is more challenging that a walk in the park, but it is well within reach of your average hiker.  The climb to the peak is about 2 miles over somewhat rocky terrain and about 1700 feet of elevation change.  Plan for about 3 hours to complete the hike.

NOTE: Mt. Monadnock State park does not allow dogs or other pets.
